Challenge

Wells Enterprises, the parent company of Blue Bunny, wanted to identify sizable new product platforms that could deliver $50M in incremental revenue by exploring the intersection of innovation and brand licensing. They came to Bulldog Drummond and Brand Central to help design and manage the process.

Result

Together, we designed an innovation journey with a core team at Wells. We reviewed all existing market trends, manufacturing capabilities and consumer segmentation to identify significant opportunities that had the potential to deliver new product platforms. After narrowing the platforms, we designed the product concepts and identified corresponding licensing partners. After designing each concept, Brand Central took the lead to present and negotiate long-term contracts with potential licensing partners. From blank page to signed contracts, we delivered partnerships that could yield over $100M in incremental sales revenue with partners like General Mills, Yoplait and Dr. Pepper Snapple.
