Have you ever wondered what gives certain people star quality? Or what it is that draws you to one brand over the next? What lies behind this magnetic attraction is often intangible and esoteric. It is the essence of true being.
Think about the people in your life, perhaps a mentor, or certain brand that inspires you. Can you give logical proof as to what attracts you to it? Or is it just a certain something that resonates with you? Whether it’s attraction, or even love, the underlying force that hooks you is often unexplainable, yet undeniably real.
Remember the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoons? They never showed her face but communicated her boring and irrelevant character through her voice, which came across to Charlie and his friends as “blah, blah, blah – blah, blah blah.” That’s the same way people and brands communicate when they merely exist versus exercise the power of true being. Without expressing true essence and being, you resonate as a low-grade hum vs. a clear channel for communication and attraction.
I’m sure you know a few “blah, blah, blahers”, humming along in your social and work circles, and can identify the “blah brands” that bore you. Their problem is that they exist inside of energy-entrapping paradigms such as, “Trying to fit in, being socially accepted, or meeting the bottom line”. These types of limiting frameworks drain the life out of people and brands. On a certain level, the blah blah blahers are just taking up space.
In my work as a mentor and consultant, I am attracted to people and brands with unique gifts, or that certain something that’s often hard to put into words due to their intangible and esoteric nature. Prior to our work together, brands often struggle to get their business off the ground, failing to reach their true potential because they can’t tell me what’s unique about their product or the service they provide.
Discovering and unleashing the power of true being within a person or brand is a process of revealing. The essence is always there, but the key is to find the words, symbols and framework that cultivate versus drain life, energy, and potential. When these pieces are drawn together they create an energetic framework with a vibratory resonance that launch a wave of true being into the universe. When I work with people–particularly writers and creators–they are amazed at how their creativity and work begin to flow once we center on a brand framework that is aligned with who they are and that captures their unique essence.
Knowing who you are and discovering your unique gifts is the first step to activating the power of true being and unleashing your true potential—and it works the same way for a brand. Until a brand knows how it is distinctly different from other brands, there is no chance for launching into the stratosphere let alone reaching the minds of consumers. Speaking authentically and being true to yourself or your brand is the next critical step for breaking through the noise in the world and the marketplace.
Why doesn’t every person or brand follow the path of true being? And, why doesn’t every brand embrace their uniqueness and communicate honestly to the areas that have the potential to skyrocket success? Because doing so requires believing in the unseen and tapping into what can only be felt. It requires honoring the genius within and having the courage to take a stand for who you are, becoming unwavering in the face of vulnerability and rejection for not blending in.
The key to unleashing the power of true being within you or your brand is to travel within. I believe every person and brand has a core, the heart of where true genius and power of being resides. Intuitive listening is essential to find true being. The ability to feel for the heartbeat and travel into the stillness of truth, listening for the expression that is waiting to be discovered and given the framework it needs to come to life, grow and flourish.
To be or not to be? Will you simply exist or will you thrive in the power of true being? It’s up to you to discover what is totally unique about yourself and remain true to who you are. Will you become the champion of your brand’s true being or join the ranks for the blah blahers? Making a conscious choice to be you and be the brand is transformative. The power of true being transcends the blahness of merely existing and will engage you and your brand in a creative journey to true potential.
